I was searching for a Dentist in Holly and found out there was a couple month wait for new patients. I called Merit with impeccable timing. Nat took my call. She was very nice on the phone and advised me that there was a cancellation and they could see me tomorrow! I jumped at the opportunity. I'm glad I did. Lynnette took care of me and made me feel comfortable as much as I don't like going to the Dentist. This was different. I was able to consult with Dr. Arban. I’m one of those people that have hated going to the dentist my whole life. I went to Merit Dental for the first time about 6 months ago due to an infection in my wisdom tooth and I was dreading having to go… but let me tell you, ALL of the staff here are so amazing! I just went back yesterday for a cleaning and I can honestly say I was excited to go, which is crazy for me since I’ve always feared the dentist lol. There staff is back handed. I was told I do not have a copay for a cleaning by there staff before scheduling an appointment. I was happy with everything the Dr and hygienist did. Nearly 6 months later I get a call with a bill for $75 the day of my next appointment. I was told I have no copay when i went the first time. They said they have not looked at my policy and unless I can prove to them I don't "a bill is a bill" Kathy is rude and unwilling to listen to the situation. You are welcome to reach out. It has been almost a week since I first posted this, no one has reached out except Kathy to threaten me with collections ? Next week I will be sending a complaint to delta dental, and the proper medical authorities. 75$ is not alot, but I am not going to be taken advantage of. I have known the doctor a while and don't want to do this, but when Kathy threatening me and treating me terribly, I feel like this is the only way to get results

I am a new patient. I was treated with kindness and compassion. My visit was for a second opinion on (swelling gums around) a tooth that I have an issue on and had a previous root canal by another dentist a couple years ago that ignored the problem. I was very comfortable with the plan to get the tooth removed to avoid infection. Dr Sulfaro explained the step by step plan clean out of tooth for bone graft and for another tooth to be replaced over several months time. He was very patient and kind with all my questions. Adult only dentist, but I wouldn't trust him my mouth either. Was going here for 3 years. Not child friendly. They may take children, but will let your children have cavities and just let them go because "they will fall out" and be however until it's too late. Had to go to a specialist to pull out a major cavity that they wouldn't do because it was a major problem/pain for my child. He refused to work on my child's mouth. I go to a specialist, come to find out my child has a cavity in almost every tooth. I dropped this dental group and went with the specialist elsewhere. I thought going to a dentist starting at a young age would help, to help prevent cavities. This group is just allowing cavities so they can make more money. Thousands of dollars later, my kid's teeth are fixed but could have been prevented with a better dentist. Go with a pediatric dentist, there's others around the surrounding area, do not send your child to this dental group.

Do NOT see Dr Arban, she is terrible! I have seen Dr Sulfaro for years and he is excellent. I broke a tooth and had to wait longer to see Dr. Sulfaro, so I saw Dr Arban, BIG mistake. She and the dental assistant chatted like middle schoolers the whole 1.5 hours I was in the chair as if I was not even there, totally unprofessional. The assistant jabbed me in my lip twice and splashed my face with water and left it. Dr. Arban gave me a temporary crown that fell out 23 hours after the office visit. Only schedule with Dr Sulfaro!
