"Firstly, I came in needing tons of work. I was always afraid to see a dentist because of a bad experience I had when I was younger. I stopped going for many years and depression didn’t help with the dental hygiene either. I came here and have been going for a few years now. The first appointment was the hardest and I still get nervous, but the doctors and assistants here are great and knowing I’m in good hands helps a lot. I had to have an extraction with a really bad infected tooth with Dr Crystal. Unfortunately even after antibiotics, I was not able to get fully numb. I proceeded with the removal and she was very quick, calm, and knowledgeable. After this I saw Dr Lau a few times for fillings/extractions etc. She consistently checked in with me during procedures to make sure I was ok. She explained each step so it helped to calm my nerves. She would make sure I was fully numb and comfortable multiple times (I’ve had experiences where dentists were not so careful or gentle). She also checks in with her assistants to make sure they are comfortable as well! She takes great pride in her work, enjoys what she does, and it shows. I see some reviews about bait and switch and price gouging etc and have not experienced this. I’ve been given multiple options for procedures and I let them know what works with my budget and when I can do it. Then we get it done- no guilt trips, no lectures. Sometimes the receptionists get a bit crabby at the end of the day, but there are also some very friendly ones too. And the communication is spot on- I get text reminders and a call the day before which helps me a lot. Very happy with this place. I doubt I’d ever go elsewhere - I just have not had the same level of care anywhere else and it has done so much for my health physically and otherwise."
